Fire Alarm Technician

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field

Responsibilities:

• Perform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the project goals.
• Read blueprints and follow diagrams to complete the required tasks.
• Read work order and instructions for work required.
• Install fire alarm devices and programs following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Test fire alarm system using appropriate diagnostic programs and equipment to find any loose connections or circuit malfunctions.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure that systems and equipment efficiently worked according to their specifications.
• Repair service reports at each service location.
• Ensure that the fire alarm system running efficiently.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance adjustments on fire alarm systems.
• Adhere to electrical and fire codes and applied health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct supervisor/manager.
