WELDER

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Welder in industrial fabrication, construction, or automotive-related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
  • Experience with FCAW and 6G welding positions is required.
  • Ability to read and understand welding symbols and WPS.
  • Experience welding structural steel and piping systems.
  • Welding Qualification Tests (WQTs) are an advantage.
  • Ability to operate welding and fabrication equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Perform welding operations using:
    • FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
    • GMAW/MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
    • GTAW/TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
    • SMAW/Stick Welding
  • Weld structural steel and pipes using carbon steel and stainless steel materials.
  • Perform welding in accordance with approved WPS requirements.
  • Ensure weld quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Operate welding machines, tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds and identify defects or quality issues.
  • Work closely with fabrication and production teams to achieve project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
