Welder (GTAW+SMAW)

Qualifications:

• Must be an ASME Code-qualified Welder.
• Certified to weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pressure piping using GTAW and SMAW welding processes.
• Experience in pressure piping fabrication and welding is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and quality standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a construction or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding of carbon steel and stainless-steel pressure piping using GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) processes.
• Read and interpret welding procedures, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare materials, joints, and welding equipment before fabrication and installation.
• Produce high-quality welds that meet ASME Code requirements and project specifications.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure tools are used safely and efficiently.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
