Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes, kitchen procedures, and instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and maintain high culinary standards.
- Passion for culinary excellence and delivering exceptional guest dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operations of an assigned kitchen section.
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure ingredients are properly prepared, stored, and handled in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Follow recipes, kitchen procedures, and instructions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the work area.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production during service.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to senior kitchen staff.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
