SUPERVISOR (ELV PROJECT ENGINEER)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication); Engineering (Electrical/Electronic); Engineering (Others) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong experience in CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking, and LED Display Systems.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and VMS platforms such as Milestone, HikCentral, and Genetec, as well as access control systems including biometric, RFID, ANPR, gate barriers, and turnstiles.
- Experience with CAT6/CAT6A, fiber optics, OTDR testing, network switches, VLANs, PoE, IP addressing, and LED display systems such as Novastar.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals and experience coordinating with MEP, ICT, and Civil teams; knowledge of TIA/EIA, IEEE, AVIXA, NFPA, and applicable local regulations is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ELV/AV projects from project initiation through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
- Review contracts, project specifications, IFC drawings, and scope requirements to ensure proper project alignment.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, method statements, BOQs, cost estimates, value engineering proposals, and project schedules using Primavera or MS Project.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage procurement activities, including vendor evaluation, material submittals, logistics, and delivery coordination.
- Monitor project progress, risks, manpower, resources, site activities, and technical compliance through regular inspections and site visits.
- Lead testing, commissioning, snagging, documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and client training activities.
