Water Feature Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in water feature maintenance, plumbing, filtration systems, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of water circulation systems, pumps, filters, and plumbing components.
• Experience in water quality testing and chemical treatment procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and plumbing issues related to water features.
• Familiarity with UV systems, filtration systems, valves, and pump maintenance.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and equipment handling.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of pond liners, skimmers, filters, and water feature systems.
• Remove debris and conduct seasonal clean-outs to maintain proper system operation and appearance.
• Test and monitor water quality parameters including pH, chlorine, and nitrate levels.
• Adjust water chemistry using industry-standard treatment methods and chemicals.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving water circulation systems, UV bulbs, pumps, valves, and filtration equipment.
• Repair or replace damaged plumbing lines and malfunctioning mechanical components.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failure.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and repair documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company operational standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
