Warehouse Executive

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in warehousing, Logistics or Administration.
• Candidate must possess at least 4 years of hands-on working experience as warehouse or logistics officer or supervisor.
• People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others and explain ideas.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows applications, email, Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Ability to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Results oriented and keen to details.
• Will be able to input new product database into WMS intro required dialects.
• Requires high foot travel and working throughout the facility.
• REQUIRED LANGUAGES: English; Bahasa Indonesia / Malaysia and Mandarin
• Candidate fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Responsible in updating and maintain correct information in WMS.
  • Ensure all operating procedures are followed, updated time to time and guided to meet SOP objectives.
  • Make sure that items are priced correctly according to proper price margin assigned.
  • Accurate description between English (and Chinese) languages in all documentation.
  • Responsible to update new product database in English (and Mandarin) into WMS and ensure all information is correct and accurate.
  • Set up and maintain inventory database (including costings).
  • Generate inventory report for warehouse and finance department.
  • Keep an eye on process flow for all system transaction in the warehouse with proper filing and paperwork.

   

• Inventory
  • Maintains goods receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • To lead receiving team examining related materials and goods to identify defects and check the quantity, report to purchasing team for discrepancy.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations according to the security standards.
  • Monitor and calculate the inventory issued to project site and actual usage.
  • Conduct frequent random stock monthly, and overall stock take/cycle count as scheduled. investigating inventory discrepancies.
  • Generate and maintaining ageing report and slow-moving stock report.
  • Monitor daily warehouse stock movement and ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Work closely with warehouse team to manage inventory, ensure goods receiving and goods issuance process fulfil inventory requests by clients and WMS.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive inventory and assets list for Warehouse department.

   

• Vehicle and Equipment Management
  • Communicating with all departments by email or phone to coordinate equipment and vehicles needs and plan for vehicle and heavy equipment scheduling.
  • Ensure mechanic team is maintaining and updating vehicle/equipment repair report and submit to Management on monthly basis.

   

• Administration
  • Maintain and update Q-time attendance system for Warehouse Department.
  • Report any accident or injury or abnormal incidents to Warehouse Manager immediately; report and filing.
  • Coordinate warehouse office for smooth operation and optimize available resources.
  • Confers with Manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities

   

• Miscellaneous
  • Ensure environmental, health and safety guidelines are being applied and adhered to for all staff and visitors at the warehouse.
  • Provide full support to the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Any other duties delegated as and when required by management or supervisors
  • Work in any other locations as directed by management or supervisors

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
