WAITER/WAITRESS

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position as a Waiter/Waitress.
• Must have experience in casual or fine dining restaurants.
• Age: 30 years old and below.
• Able to provide a short introduction video as part of the application process.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous attitude.
• Ability to provide fast, accurate, and efficient service.
• Strong attention to detail and good knowledge of restaurant service procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy casual or fine dining environment.
• Good teamwork and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Responsible, hardworking, presentable, and guest-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Present menus and provide accurate information about food and beverage selections.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to established restaurant standards.
• Ensure that orders are complete, accurate, and properly presented.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
• Provide knowledgeable and attentive service throughout the guest’s dining experience.
• Handle guest questions, requests, and complaints professionally and refer complex concerns to the supervisor.
• Prepare and maintain tables with appropriate plates, cutlery, glasses, napkins, and other service items.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently during and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper organization of dining and service areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties according to restaurant procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and other restaurant personnel to ensure smooth service.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle tableware, equipment, food, and beverages carefully to prevent damage and waste.
• Assist in monitoring supplies and report shortages or service issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude at all times.
• Follow company policies, restaurant service standards, and instructions from management.
• Support team members during busy service periods to maintain fast and efficient operations.
• Perform other restaurant service duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
