We are seeking a reliable and skilled Villa Maintenance Technician (Couple) to oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of a private villa in Greece. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the property’s facilities, ensuring all systems operate efficiently, and performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to keep the villa in excellent condition.

Villa Maintenance Technician (couple)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
  • Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in a related technical field or equivalent.
  • Practical experience in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or light construction and maintenance is required.
  • Strong knowledge of general property maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to perform handyman tasks, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and use common hand and power tools safely.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual maintenance work.
  • Willing to work and reside in a private villa setting.
  • Honest, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred applicants are married couples or common-law partners who are willing to work together in the same household assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of the villa’s facilities and equipment.
  • Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, windows, fixtures, and household equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all property systems remain in good working condition.
  • Perform minor construction, installation, and repair work as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Coordinate with the property owner or supervisor regarding maintenance requirements and repair schedules.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the private villa.
