KBR Arabia Ltd. Co. is seeking an experienced Valve Shop Technician II to support advanced valve maintenance and repair operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, disassembling, repairing, assembling, testing, and overhauling industrial valves to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations within industrial facilities.
Valve Shop Technician II
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in valve maintenance, valve overhaul, or related mechanical fields.
- Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves, valve repair techniques, overhaul procedures, testing methods, and mechanical maintenance practices.
- Experience using valve shop equipment, testing devices, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documents, and equipment manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial valves and valve assemblies.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, overhaul, reassemble, and test various types of industrial valves according to technical specifications.
- Diagnose valve defects and implement appropriate corrective actions to restore optimal performance.
- Carry out valve lapping, seat replacement, pressure testing, leak testing, and functional testing.
- Operate valve shop equipment, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to support reliable plant performance.
