KBR Arabia Ltd. Co. is seeking an experienced Valve Shop Technician I to support valve maintenance and repair operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, disassembling, repairing, assembling, testing, and maintaining industrial valves to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Valve Shop Technician I
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in valve maintenance, valve repair, or related mechanical fields.
- Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves, valve repair techniques, testing procedures, and mechanical maintenance practices.
- Experience using valve shop equipment, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, engineering documents, and equipment manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial valves and valve components.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and test valves according to technical specifications and maintenance procedures.
- Conduct valve inspections to identify wear, damage, or operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform valve lapping, seat replacement, pressure testing, and leak testing as required.
- Operate valve shop tools, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Interpret technical drawings, valve specifications, and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to support efficient plant operations.
