UAB Autrona is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with road transport regulations and company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely deliveries, proper cargo handling, vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate transportation records.

TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in freight transportation or commercial truck driving.
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate classifications: A, B, C, CE, or C1E (as applicable).
• Experience in loading and unloading cargo is required.
• Ability to perform basic truck maintenance, including daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with dispatchers and customers.
• Hardworking, honest, responsible, and committed to safe driving practices.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy trucks safely to transport freight to assigned destinations according to delivery schedules.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes while complying with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Load, secure, transport, and assist in unloading cargo while ensuring goods remain undamaged during transit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking brakes, tires, lights, engine fluids, and other essential systems.
• Conduct basic truck maintenance, including monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, battery condition, and reporting mechanical defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, cargo documentation, and driver logbooks.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and shipment updates.
• Ensure cargo is delivered on time while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Follow all health, safety, and transport regulations, including proper cargo securing procedures.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, roadworthy, and compliant with company maintenance requirements.
• Perform other transportation-related duties assigned by management.
