Nicotrans a.s. is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to join its transportation and logistics operations in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating trailer trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently while complying with road safety regulations and company standards. Applicants with basic mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance are highly preferred to help ensure the reliability and safety of assigned vehicles.

Truck Driver

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 25–45 years old.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Trailer Truck Driver.
• Must possess a valid Category CE Truck Driving License.
• Experience in basic vehicle mechanics or truck maintenance is required.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical problems.
• Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance driving assignments.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic English communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate trailer trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently along assigned local and international routes.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Plan driving routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely transportation of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle inspections, and driver logbooks.
• Monitor the condition of the truck and trailer, reporting mechanical issues or defects promptly.
• Perform basic mechanical checks and minor maintenance, including inspecting tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and other essential vehicle components.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety policies.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and cargo requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned vehicles.
• Respond professionally to unexpected road or vehicle issues and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
• Perform other transportation and logistics-related duties assigned by management.
