TRAILER DRIVER

Qualifications:

• With a valid TESDA Certificate (NC II).
• Knowledge and experience in general carpentry and finishing carpentry.
• Knowledgeable in generator operation and basic troubleshooting/repair, particularly in case of breakdown.
• Familiarity with basic carpentry tools, materials, measurements, and finishing techniques.
• Able to safely operate and handle assigned vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing driving, material-handling, carpentry, and site-support duties.
• Able to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and directions from supervisors.
• Responsible, dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a construction or industrial project environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate trailers and assigned vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with site and road safety requirements.
• Transport construction materials, tools, equipment, and other project-related items to designated locations.
• Conduct basic pre-operation checks of the trailer, vehicle, tires, lights, brakes, and other essential components.
• Ensure that loads are properly secured before transportation.
• Follow designated routes, site traffic rules, speed limits, and transportation procedures.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and logistics personnel regarding loading, unloading, and delivery schedules.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment when required.
• Report vehicle, trailer, equipment, or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle and trailer.
• Perform basic general carpentry and finishing carpentry work when assigned.
• Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, installing, and finishing wooden components.
• Perform minor carpentry repairs and maintenance in support of construction activities.
• Operate generators as required to support site activities and project operations.
• Conduct basic checks and troubleshooting of generators in case of operational problems or breakdowns.
• Assist in identifying basic generator faults and report major mechanical or electrical problems to qualified personnel.
• Follow proper procedures when starting, operating, shutting down, and maintaining generators.
• Use tools and equipment safely and maintain an organized work area.
• Follow company policies, project-site safety rules, and applicable health and safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing assigned duties.
• Perform other driving, carpentry, equipment-support, and related duties assigned by management.
