Aureol Global Connections is currently seeking highly experienced Tower Crane Operators for deployment to Ireland. The successful candidate will safely operate tower cranes in construction projects while ensuring efficient lifting operations and strict compliance with safety regulations.

TOWER CRANE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years experience operating tower cranes in construction environments.
  • Experienced in operating both:
    • Cab-controlled tower cranes
    • Remote-controlled tower cranes
  • Strong English communication skills are required for safe and effective site communication.
  • Knowledgeable in crane safety procedures, lifting operations, and load handling techniques.
  • Ability to interpret lifting plans, load charts, and site instructions accurately.
  • Skilled in coordinating with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors using radio communication and hand signals.
  • Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Responsible, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate tower cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning construction materials and equipment.
  • Perform pre-operational and post-operational inspections of crane systems and safety devices.
  • Operate both cab-controlled and remote-controlled tower cranes efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor load weights, balance, and lifting conditions to ensure safe crane operation.
  • Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and supervisors to execute lifting activities safely.
  • Follow approved lifting plans, operational procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or operational issues immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with construction site safety standards.
  • Support safe and efficient site operations while maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational awareness.
