Grapecare Ltd. is seeking experienced Tilers to join its construction team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and other wall and floor tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Applicants should have proven experience in tile installation, be able to interpret technical drawings, and deliver high-quality workmanship that meets construction standards.
TILER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in ceramic or floor tile installation.
- Must be able to provide photos and videos of previous tile installation projects.
- Basic ability to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, dimensions, and blueprints.
- Skilled in preparing surfaces, mixing adhesives, cutting tiles, grouting, and finishing.
- Experience using tile cutters, grinders, drills, and other tiling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual construction work.
- A valid driver’s license is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying primers or waterproofing materials as required.
- Prepare and mix mortar, tile adhesives, grouting compounds, and other installation materials according to manufacturer specifications.
- Measure, mark, cut, grind, and drill ceramic, porcelain, and other types of tiles to fit installation areas and openings.
- Install wall and floor tiles accurately based on technical drawings, layout plans, and project specifications.
- Ensure proper tile alignment, spacing, leveling, and pattern consistency throughout the installation process.
- Install expansion joints, edge trims, transition strips, and other finishing accessories.
- Apply grout and silicone sealants to tile joints and edges to achieve a durable, watertight, and professional finish.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Maintain and safely operate tile cutting machines, grinders, drills, and other hand and power tools.
- Keep work areas clean and organized while following workplace safety procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform other tiling and finishing duties assigned by management.
