Technician (Fire Suppression Systems)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fire suppression system maintenance and facilities management.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance management within large businesses or commercial establishments; experience limited to construction projects is not acceptable.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree is required; alternatively, valid vocational or formal training with certification is acceptable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems in commercial and large-scale facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm and suppression equipment.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure system reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
