Technician – Airport Systems – AGL

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience is required.
• Experience operating and performing preventive maintenance on expeditionary airfield systems.
• Experience installing and maintaining Constant Current Regulators (CCR).
• Experience installing and maintaining Airfield Lighting (AFL) fixtures such as TCL, TDZ, PAPI, Blue Edge Lights, and similar systems.
• Knowledge of airport runway safety regulations and hazardous zones.
• Ability to utilize visual hand and light signals required in recovery operations.
• Able to use measurement tools such as multimeters and insulation testers.
• Experience assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Ability to construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• No minimum educational attainment is required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on expeditionary airfield systems.
• Install and perform preventive maintenance on Constant Current Regulators (CCR).
• Install and maintain various Airfield Lighting (AFL) fixtures.
• Follow published safety regulations when working near runways and airport operational areas.
• Utilize visual hand and light signals during recovery and operational activities.
• Maintain tools, instruments, and testing equipment.
• Conduct testing and diagnostics using multimeters, insulation testers, and other measuring devices.
• Assemble, evaluate, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical and electronic equipment.
• Construct and fabricate components using hand tools and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed according to operational and safety standards.
