Sushi Chef

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Can provide sample videos or sample portfolios

Responsibilities:

• Excellent knife skills, particularly in filleting and slicing raw fish
• Proven experience in fast-paced kitchens or Japanese/sushi restaurants
• Deep understanding of Japanese ingredients, seasonality, and flavor profiles
• Ability to prepare and artistically present sushi dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, especially concerning raw fish
• Strong customer service skills, especially in open-kitchen or omakase-style settings.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
