Patrick’s Transport Limited is seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient stock movement, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising warehouse personnel, and optimizing supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, warehouse, logistics, or distribution management is required.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Business
- Studies/Administration/Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, and distribution.
- Strong leadership, team management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in inventory control systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and oversee warehouse operations involving occasional physical activities such as stock inspections and delivery verification.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of physical stock into and out of the warehouse.
- Verify the accuracy of customer orders, deliveries, and inventory records.
- Supervise warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity, efficiency, and employee morale.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular and ad hoc stock counts and reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory levels and establish consistent ordering patterns to prevent stock shortages while minimizing excess inventory and slow-moving items.
- Plan and coordinate distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with distribution regulations, workplace safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare inventory, warehouse, and distribution reports for management review.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to support efficient supply chain operations.
- Participate in warehouse inspections, stock verification, and delivery checks, including tasks that involve moderate physical activity.
