STEEL WORKS SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in steel works supervision within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Extensive experience in pipeline mechanical construction, welding, installation, and testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and construction procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, construction teams, and site activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with pipeline welding, bending, inspections, hydrotesting, and installation processes.
• Ability to manage site resources, schedules, tools, and construction equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise pipeline construction activities including welding, bending, inspections, testing, and installation.
• Ensure all work activities comply with HSE requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, and site teams for efficient project execution.
• Verify availability of drawings, materials, tools, equipment, and manpower before work execution.
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly performance and construction reports.
• Resolve technical issues and provide support to field teams during construction activities.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and operation of machinery and construction equipment.
• Conduct inspections and verify quality of completed works according to project requirements.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient working environments at construction sites.
• Support project management in achieving schedule targets, productivity goals, and operational excellence.
