KBR Arabia Ltd. Co. is seeking an experienced Material Supply Engineer to support material planning, procurement coordination, and supply chain operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and spare parts required for maintenance and plant operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Material Supply Engineer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in material supply, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
- Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, procurement processes, and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with ERP or computerized inventory management systems.
- Ability to analyze inventory data, prepare reports, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and material handling best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the supply of materials, spare parts, and equipment for maintenance and operational activities.
- Review material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery to support plant operations.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment strategies to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Verify material specifications, technical documentation, and supplier compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare material forecasts, inventory reports, procurement status updates, and supply chain documentation.
- Support inventory optimization and cost-control initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements in all material management activities.
