SOUS CHEF

Qualifications:

• Male and female applicants are welcome to apply.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a related culinary role.
• Experience working abroad is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environments.
• Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Flexible, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise food preparation and ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
• Support kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during operations.
• Monitor food inventory, storage, and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in menu preparation, recipe implementation, and food costing.
• Train and guide kitchen staff when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with restaurant and service teams to ensure efficient food service operations.
