SITE SUPERVISOR (ELECTRICAL)

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of hands-on experience in electrical construction supervision.
• Proven experience supervising large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong background in power distribution systems, lighting installation, cable works, panel installation, low-voltage systems, fire alarm systems, and electrical building services.
• Working at Height certification or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, cable layouts, and construction specifications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, material standards, workmanship quality requirements, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, electrical safety standards, the Saudi Building Code (SBC), and the Saudi Electrical Code.
• Hands-on experience using electrical tools, testing equipment, and installation techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
• High level of discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple site activities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction activities for large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Manage electrical construction crews, electricians, and subcontractors performing power distribution, cable pulling and termination, lighting installation, conduit works, panel installation, low-voltage systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, and data/communication network installations.
• Plan site activities, interpret electrical drawings, and ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship quality, productivity, and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate daily manpower deployment, work schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, including electrical safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, manpower attendance, material usage, and site activities to the Site Engineer.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues, work delays, and quality concerns in coordination with the Site Engineer and project team.
• Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and storage of electrical tools, equipment, and construction materials.
• Verify material and equipment deliveries to ensure correct quantities and compliance with project specifications.
• Assist in cable routing verification, electrical equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Support quality control activities, including insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, and electrical system installation verification.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment throughout project execution.
