SERVICE & INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN (PLUMBER)

Qualifications:

  • Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing or a related field
  • Valid Group 2 Driver’s License is required
  • Experience in plumbing, gas piping, LPG installation, or related technical services
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, layouts, and building specifications
  • Knowledge of LPG customer installation procedures and safety requirements
  • Experience in preparing material take-offs and cost estimates
  • Strong understanding of project installation works and site operations
  • Computer literate and capable of preparing reports and documentation
  • Attention to detail, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair LPG piping systems and related plumbing works
  • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications for installation projects
  • Perform gas pipe layout, fitting, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Ensure all LPG customer installation procedures and safety standards are followed
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of gas and plumbing systems
  • Prepare cost estimates, material requirements, and installation reports
  • Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and customers regarding installation schedules
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair works on LPG systems
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
