SENIOR TELECOM COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Telecom Engineering.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Extensive experience in commissioning, start-up, and maintenance of telecommunication systems.
• Knowledgeable in HSE rules, regulations, and international telecom engineering standards.
• Experienced in testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with technicians, vendors, and project teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and industrial safety procedures.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, inspection records, and commissioning documentation.
• Capable of working in large-scale industrial, oil and gas, or offshore environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead safe commissioning, start-up, and maintenance activities for telecommunication systems.
• Ensure all commissioning and operational activities comply with HSE requirements and company standards.
• Participate in PTW systems and verify implementation of required safety measures.
• Identify, assess, and control hazards to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
• Execute inspections, testing, and commissioning activities with technicians and vendors according to project documentation.
• Record and document test results, inspections, and commissioning reports using approved formats.
• Troubleshoot telecom system issues and coordinate corrective actions efficiently.
• Ensure telecommunication systems operate according to technical specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.
• Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and compliance records throughout project execution.
