Senior High School Mathematics Teacher
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or college degree in Education, Teaching, Training, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- Must have a Master’s Degree (S2) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Must have a strong background in Advanced Mathematics.
- Must have specialization in Cambridge International AS/A-Level Probability & Statistics 1 and 2.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of the Cambridge International Curriculum, particularly IGCSE and AS/A-Level Mathematics.
- Must demonstrate strong teaching skills and the ability to explain advanced mathematical concepts effectively.
- Must have a strong commitment to fostering analytical thinking, independent problem-solving, and mathematical rigor among senior students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to Senior High School students following the IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A-Level curricula.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, effective, and well-structured Mathematics lessons.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Teach advanced Mathematics topics, with particular focus on Cambridge AS/A-Level Probability & Statistics 1 and 2.
- Prepare students for IGCSE and AS/A-Level Mathematics examinations.
- Assess and monitor student performance through examinations, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Provide constructive feedback to strengthen students’ mathematical understanding and academic performance.
- Promote analytical thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical rigor.
- Maintain effective classroom management and encourage active student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administrators to support academic programs and student achievement.
