Grapecare LTD. is seeking experienced Roofers / Tinsmiths to join its construction team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems, fabricating and fitting sheet metal components, and ensuring that roofs are weatherproof, structurally sound, and compliant with construction standards. The ideal applicants have solid experience in roofing and tinsmith work and are comfortable working at heights.

ROOFER / TINSMITH

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience as a Roofer, Tinsmith, or similar position.
• Proven experience in roofing installation, maintenance, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Skilled in installing roof coverings, gutters, downpipes, flashing, and insulation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Physically strong and capable of lifting materials weighing up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 10 meters.
• Experience assembling timber roof structures and installing roofing systems is an advantage.
• Category B (passenger car) driver’s license is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble prefabricated timber-based roof structures and building frameworks according to construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Transport, measure, cut, install, and secure roofing materials, insulation, and roof coverings.
• Install and repair various roofing systems, including metal, tile, and other roof coverings.
• Fabricate, bend, cut, rivet, solder, and assemble sheet metal components using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Manufacture and install gutters, downpipes, flashing, chimney caps, dormer trims, facade trims, and other roofing accessories.
• Seal roof joints, edges, penetrations, and connections to ensure weatherproofing and leak prevention.
• Install thermal insulation systems to improve the building’s energy efficiency.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on damaged or aging roof coverings and sheet metal components.
• Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding and work platforms while following safety regulations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, roof plans, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all roofing and sheet metal work complies with company quality standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Perform other roofing and tinsmith duties assigned by supervisors.
