RADIO VHF TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants, 25–40 years old
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience (preferred for specialized roles)
- Strong understanding of radio frequency (RF) technology and troubleshooting techniques
- Specialized RF certifications and continuous learning are an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent repair needs
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and diagnose handheld (portable) and mobile/vehicle VHF radios
- Manage repeater systems to ensure optimal signal coverage and performance
- Maintain and manage portable radio battery fleets
- Troubleshoot and repair RF systems efficiently
- Conduct testing and installation in vehicles and field locations
- Perform maintenance and repairs in workshop settings
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure reliable communication networks
- Be available for on-call repairs and emergency support as needed
