QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or QS-related work
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
• Basic understanding of contracts, procurement, and project management principles
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
• Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations and negotiate pricing
• Assist in contract administration and documentation
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities and assess work progress
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to manage costs effectively
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support on cost-related matters
