Nashar Meat Company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of meat products in our processing plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory testing, food safety, or meat processing and be able to work efficiently in a cold production environment.

QUALITY TECHNICIAN (MEAT PROCESSING PLANT)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in laboratory testing, meat processing, or food safety monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and quality control procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests and inspections on meat products to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Monitor processing operations to comply with food safety regulations and internal standards.
• Perform physical inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Document and report quality findings, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory and inspection equipment.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols in the workplace.
