Job Location: Taiwan
Wang Bang Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking dedicated Quality Control Engineers to join its construction team in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with quality standards, engineering specifications, safety regulations, and client requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, monitoring construction activities, preparing quality documentation, and working closely with project teams to maintain the highest standards throughout all phases of construction.
Quality Control Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, College Degree, or Vocational qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Or other related engineering disciplines
- Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply (requirements may vary depending on the assigned position).
- Proficient in English and Chinese; knowledge of Taiwanese is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering drawings, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and prepare accurate quality reports and documentation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willing to work in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections of construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable standards.
- Monitor construction activities and verify that work is performed according to approved quality procedures and project requirements.
- Inspect civil, architectural, and mechanical/electrical (M&E) works throughout different stages of construction.
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with project teams.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, test records, and other quality documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Review construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Participate in project meetings, quality audits, and site inspections as required.
- Ensure compliance with company quality management systems and applicable construction regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality and project efficiency.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at all times.
- Perform other quality assurance and engineering duties assigned by management.
