PUBLIC AREA SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Age requirement: 22–35 years old.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role within a 5-star hotel environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable, professional, and guest-service oriented.
• Strong knowledge of public area cleaning procedures and luxury hospitality standards.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and service excellence.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Must provide a Certificate of Employment (COE).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural hospitality team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily public area housekeeping operations, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, lounges, and other guest areas.
• Assign duties, monitor staff performance, and ensure tasks are completed according to hotel standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of public areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace safety regulations.
• Train, guide, and support housekeeping associates in maintaining high service quality.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure availability and proper usage.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding maintenance issues, guest concerns, and operational requirements.
• Address guest requests and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records related to public area operations.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive working environment.
