Property & Facilities Management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Property Management and/or Facilities Management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractors, maintenance teams, and facility operations.
• Experience preparing and managing operational budgets and monitoring KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on site management.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, asset management, workplace health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willing to relocate and work in Papua New Guinea.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day management of commercial and industrial properties and facilities.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure buildings, equipment, and infrastructure remain in excellent operating condition.
• Manage property operating budgets, maintenance costs, and financial performance while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to facility operations, maintenance, and service delivery.
• Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety risks, and asset improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement asset improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and property value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare operational, financial, and maintenance reports for management.
• Resolve operational issues, emergencies, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Support strategic planning while remaining actively involved in on-site operations.
• Promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, and high-quality facility management practices.
• Perform other property and facilities management duties assigned by senior management.
