PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in beverage manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Practical knowledge of PET bottle production, blow moulding, filling operations, and water treatment systems.
- Strong understanding of production planning, machine operations, quality control, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting production schedules and quality objectives.
- Willing to work in the Fiji Islands under the employer’s policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Plan, organize, and monitor production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Lead, coach, and motivate production staff to maintain high productivity, teamwork, and workplace discipline.
- Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure continuous operations.
- Oversee production processes involving beverage manufacturing, PET bottle production, blow moulding, filling operations, and water treatment systems.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of production equipment, facilities, and work practices to identify and address operational issues.
- Coordinate with quality assurance, engineering, warehouse, and maintenance teams to improve production performance.
- Prepare production reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend process improvements.
- Manage raw material usage and minimize production waste through efficient resource planning.
- Train employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs), workplace safety, quality standards, and equipment operation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and workplace safety.
