WATERTECH PNG LTD is hiring a Production Manager for its bottled water production operations in Papua New Guinea. The company is seeking a hands-on and experienced leader who can oversee production processes, manage staff, and ensure efficient bottling operations.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in bottling plants, manufacturing operations, or production line supervision.
PRODUCTION MANAGER (Water Bottle)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in bottling machine operations (molding, rotary, WRS equipment).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- At least college level or graduate of technical/vocational course.
- No strict minimum educational attainment required if experienced.
- Experience in production or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Ability to handle customer coordination and operational planning.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of bottled water production.
- Monitor inventory, stock control, and production materials.
- Manage customer ordering schedules and monitor empty gallon container returns.
- Ensure smooth coordination between production and customer requirements.
- Supervise staff performance, training, and operational responsibilities
- Maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor bottling machine operations (molding, rotary, WRS equipment).
- Ensure compliance with production schedules and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement in production processes and workflow.
- Report production performance and operational issues to management.
