LARGAN Precision Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Manager (Baker) to oversee daily bakery operations, supervise production staff, manage inventory, maintain product quality, and ensure that bakery activities comply with food safety and sanitation standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, training and supervising employees, monitoring baked products, and ensuring efficient bakery operations.

PRODUCTION MANAGER (BAKER)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Textile/Fashion Design & Production or a related field, as indicated in the vacancy requirements.
• Strong experience in bakery production and operations management.
• Knowledge of baking processes, food preparation, and bakery production procedures.
• Experience supervising, training, and managing bakery staff.
• Ability to plan production schedules and manage bakery capacity.
• Strong inventory management and purchasing skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to inspect baked goods for quality, taste, appearance, and consistency.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the bakery and baking production team.
• Review production schedules and determine whether they can be achieved based on available production capacity.
• Plan and organize bakery production to meet customer demand and required delivery schedules.
• Supervise, train, and lead baking staff to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
• Create appropriate work schedules and assign duties to bakery employees.
• Monitor staff performance and take appropriate action to address performance issues.
• Train employees in proper baking techniques, food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Ensure the bakery has adequate supplies of quality ingredients and production materials.
• Order baking ingredients and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excessive stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor ingredient usage.
• Inspect bakery products to ensure consistent quality, taste, appearance, uniformity, and presentation.
• Ensure baked goods meet established production and quality standards.
• Make sure baking tools, utensils, machinery, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints and address concerns regarding bakery products or service.
• Assist customers and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Strategically arrange bakery products in display areas to encourage customer purchases.
• Develop and implement appropriate advertising and marketing strategies to attract customers.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to improve bakery productivity and profitability.
• Monitor production costs, waste, ingredient consumption, and overall operational efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive bakery environment.
