MEDICA FILTER spol. s r.o. is seeking qualified and hardworking Poultry Workers (Farm Workers) to work on poultry farms in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for the daily care, feeding, watering, breeding, and monitoring of poultry, particularly turkeys, as well as maintaining poultry houses, equipment, and surrounding areas. The position also involves operating farm machinery and assisting with routine maintenance, cleaning, vaccination, and other farm activities.

Qualifications:

• Pair (husband and wife) or male applicants.
• 20–40 years old; older applicants may be considered if they are in good health and have relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1–4 years of experience working on poultry farms or similar agricultural production facilities.
• Experience in poultry farming, turkey care, animal husbandry, or similar farm work.
• Good English communication skills.
• Responsible, independent, diligent, and willing to work and learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent physical and health condition suitable for demanding farm work.
• Strong sense of cleanliness, order, and proper farm hygiene.
• Valid driver’s license and experience driving passenger vehicles.
• Experience operating a tractor is an advantage.
• Experience operating a telescopic loader is an advantage.
• Experience operating other farm machinery or equipment is a strong advantage.
• Willing and able to perform outdoor, manual, repetitive, and physically demanding work.
• Ability to follow farm procedures, instructions, safety rules, and animal-care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Feed and provide clean drinking water to poultry according to established farm schedules.
• Perform daily care and monitoring of poultry, particularly turkeys.
• Assist with turkey breeding, feeding, and general husbandry activities.
• Observe poultry for signs of illness, injury, abnormal behavior, or other health concerns.
• Identify and separate sick or weakened animals according to farm procedures.
• Assist with poultry vaccination and other routine animal health activities.
• Operate and monitor poultry breeding and husbandry technologies and equipment.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of poultry houses and breeding facilities.
• Clean poultry breeding stations, halls, equipment, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene within poultry houses and farm facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs of mechanical farm equipment when required.
• Maintain adjacent buildings, work areas, storage areas, and other farm facilities.
• Operate a telescopic loader for appropriate farm material-handling tasks when qualified.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and handling feed, bedding, equipment, and other farm materials.
• Operate tractors or other farm machinery when authorized and qualified.
• Mow lawns and maintain grassed areas using a lawn tractor or mechanical mower.
• Operate a VAP pressure cleaner / pressure washer for cleaning poultry facilities and equipment.
• Maintain farm tools, machinery, and equipment in clean and serviceable condition.
• Report sick animals, equipment problems, maintenance requirements, or other farm concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow farm biosecurity, animal welfare, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Keep work areas orderly, clean, and free from unnecessary hazards.
• Assist with other poultry production and general farm duties as assigned.
