Universal Cold Store Company is seeking experienced Poultry Processing Plant Machine Operators to operate and monitor automated processing equipment used in poultry production. The successful candidates will ensure efficient plant operations, maintain product quality, and comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Poultry Processing Plant Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Machine Operator in a poultry processing plant, food manufacturing facility, or similar industrial environment.
• Technical knowledge and practical experience related to machine operation and production equipment.
• Familiarity with poultry processing plants, poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, or industrial manufacturing operations is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, food safety regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate poultry processing machinery and production line equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Start up, monitor, adjust, and shut down processing machines to maintain continuous production.
• Inspect equipment before and during operation to ensure proper performance and identify any abnormalities.
• Monitor product quality throughout the processing line and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors.
• Perform routine machine checks, basic adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance as assigned.
• Assist maintenance personnel during equipment repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate production records, machine operating logs, and equipment checklists.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and quality assurance standards.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and surrounding production areas clean and organized.
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Perform other production and machine operation duties assigned by management.
