Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced Poly Welder to join projects across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding of HDPE/Polyethylene pipes while ensuring compliance with safety and project standards.

POLY WELDER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in poly welding or a related field.
  • At least 1 year in college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
  • Proven experience in HDPE/Polyethylene pipe welding.
  • Certified Poly Welder is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and willing to work on-site.
  • Knowledgeable in safety procedures and industry standards.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel or be assigned to various project sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform HDPE/Polyethylene pipe welding using techniques such as butt fusion and electrofusion.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, welding procedures, and specifications.
  • Ensure proper alignment, preparation, and installation of pipes.
  • Conduct quality inspections and testing of welded joints.
  • Follow all safety standards, site regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project supervisors to ensure project efficiency.
