PLUMBER/PIPE FITTER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must be 22 to 45 years old.
• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or High School Diploma with relevant technical training.
• Must possess an active Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership as a Plumber/Pipefitter.
• Proven experience in plumbing and pipefitting specifically for firefighting and fire alarm system infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in threading, grooving, cutting, and joining steel and metal pipes according to technical specifications.
• Proficient in overhead and underground installation of fire protection pipelines and sprinkler networks.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings, fire system schematics, and mechanical layouts accurately.
• Good analytical, technical problem-solving, and spatial awareness skills to work safely in active construction site environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install, fit, cut, thread, and groove pipes and fittings for overhead and underground firefighting and fire protection systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, leak repairs, and component replacements on fire piping networks.
• Diagnose and repair pipeline leaks, pressure drops, and fitting defects safely and efficiently.
• Inspect fire pipeline systems, valve setups, and pressure connections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, isometric drawings, piping schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
• Support installation teams during fire suppression system testing, flushing, and pressure certification checks.
• Conduct hydrostatic pressure tests, pipe alignment checks, and joint integrity inspections across all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with international fire safety codes, Saudi Council of Engineers standards, and site safety protocols.
• Coordinate with site engineers, safety inspectors, and maintenance teams regarding pipeline installation schedules.
• Prepare daily work logs, material consumption records, and technical inspection reports accurately.
