PLUMBER

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience is required, with 3–5 years of proven experience as a Plumber preferred.
  • Must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Proven experience working with residential water supply systems, plumbing installations, and associated pipework.
  • Previous experience in residential water meter installation is an advantage.
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, modifying, fitting, and connecting water supply pipes and plumbing components.
  • Knowledgeable in installing and connecting water meters, valves, fittings, and other plumbing accessories.
  • Able to assess existing water supply connections and identify damaged, unsuitable, or deteriorated pipework.
  • Confident in using plumbing hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
  • Familiarity with water infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale residential plumbing installation projects is an advantage.
  • Experience using mobile job management applications and systems, particularly Simpro, is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with residential customers and team members.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license. A Driver’s Licence Code C classification is highly regarded.
  • A Philippine Master Plumber license is an advantage.
  • Reliable, motivated, safety-conscious, and committed to following workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess existing residential water supply connections and determine the requirements for water meter installation.
  • Inspect existing pipework and identify damaged, unsuitable, or deteriorated sections that may affect installation.
  • Isolate water supplies and prepare existing plumbing connections for installation work.
  • Measure, mark, cut, and modify water supply pipes to accommodate new water meters and associated fittings.
  • Install and connect water meters, valves, fittings, and other plumbing components according to project specifications.
  • Reconnect water supplies and conduct testing to check for leaks, proper water flow, and correct operation.
  • Carry out plumbing repairs, adjustments, and modifications necessary to complete installation work.
  • Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Work alongside other plumbers, water technicians, and installation teams to complete assigned projects.
  • Complete installation activities in accordance with technical specifications, project requirements, and applicable plumbing standards.
  • Record installation details, meter information, job progress, and completed work using mobile applications and job management systems such as Simpro.
  • Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and project documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with residential customers regarding installation activities, access requirements, and work completion.
  • Report installation issues, defective pipework, technical concerns, and site safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Perform other plumbing, water meter installation, and related duties as assigned.
