PLUMBER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Must be a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Industrial) or a related field.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Proven work experience as a plumber is required.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of local building regulations, plumbing standards, and safety codes.
  • Good physical strength and ability to perform manual work.
  • Comfortable working in confined or tight spaces.
  • Able to safely use plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, maintain, and replace plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and related equipment.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, damaged components, and other issues.
  • Perform installation and repair of water supply, drainage, and wastewater systems.
  • Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, valves, and water heaters.
  • Read and interpret basic plumbing plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and perform appropriate repairs efficiently.
  • Ensure plumbing installations and repairs comply with local building regulations and safety codes.
  • Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and properly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to minimize breakdowns and leaks.
  • Report major plumbing issues, material requirements, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Perform other plumbing and maintenance duties as assigned.
