Bay Trusses & Frames Pty Ltd is offering an overseas employment opportunity for qualified applicants seeking a Plumber (General) position in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including water supply, drainage, sewerage, and gas systems.

PLUMBER (GENERAL)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least graduates of a four-year undergraduate course.
• High school graduates must be willing to take the IELTS or PTE English proficiency test.
• Must have practical experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems.
• Must be knowledgeable in water supply, drainage, sewerage, and gas systems.
• Must have experience installing plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, taps, and hot water systems.
• Must be able to read and interpret building plans, plumbing diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Must have knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
• Must be capable of identifying plumbing faults and performing appropriate repairs.
• Must be able to work on residential and commercial projects.
• Must understand workplace health and safety procedures and applicable plumbing standards.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a four-wheeled vehicle.
• Must be willing and qualified to work in Australia, subject to applicable employment, licensing, and visa requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, sewerage, and gas systems.
• Install and connect plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, taps, hot water systems, and other plumbing appliances.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, damaged pipes, and other faults.
• Diagnose plumbing problems and carry out the necessary repairs or replacements.
• Read and interpret building plans, plumbing diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing components.
• Test plumbing installations to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Select and use appropriate plumbing tools, materials, and installation techniques.
• Perform plumbing work on residential and commercial construction projects.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling tools, equipment, and plumbing materials.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
