Job Location: Taiwan
Wang Bang Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking motivated Planning Engineers to join its construction team in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination to ensure construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
PLANNING ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, College Degree, or Vocational qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering, Or other related engineering disciplines - Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply (requirements may vary depending on the assigned position).
- Proficient in English and Chinese; knowledge of Taiwanese is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction schedules, and technical documents.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project scheduling software is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules and work plans for construction projects.
- Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of project activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, project status updates, and schedule analyses.
- Identify potential delays, project risks, and scheduling conflicts, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in resource planning, manpower allocation, equipment scheduling, and material coordination.
- Review engineering drawings, project specifications, and work plans to support project execution.
- Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates and planning recommendations.
- Maintain project documentation, planning records, and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and applicable construction standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project planning efficiency and performance.
- Perform other planning and project coordination duties assigned by management.
