Pipe Fitter/Fabricator

Qualifications:

• Qualified and experienced in the fabrication and installation of carbon steel and stainless-steel piping systems, including pressure piping.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, and applicable project specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, piping isometrics, and technical documents.
• Skilled in pipe measuring, cutting, fitting, alignment, and fabrication techniques.
• Familiar with industrial piping systems and installation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a construction or industrial environment.
• Committed to following workplace safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, fit, and install carbon steel and stainless-steel piping systems for industrial and construction projects.
• Assemble and install pressure piping systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, piping layouts, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, bevel, align, and prepare pipes and fittings for fabrication and installation.
• Perform fit-up activities to ensure proper alignment before welding.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM, project requirements, and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
