Pacific International Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide specialized medical care for infants, children, and adolescents in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat pediatric conditions, manage emergencies, and deliver compassionate, high-quality healthcare while ensuring the well-being of young patients.

PEDIATRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of working experience as a Pediatrician or in a related specialty.
• Must hold a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Examination).
• Must possess a Medical Degree with specialization in Pediatrics.
• Must have a valid license to practice medicine.
• Proven experience in pediatric healthcare and emergency medical care.
• In-depth knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and patient management.
• Proficient in using medical instruments and equipment.
• Updated knowledge of medications and non-pharmaceutical patient care methods.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and monitor medical conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provide preventive healthcare, routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health guidance for pediatric patients.
• Manage pediatric emergencies and provide appropriate medical interventions when required.
• Perform patient assessments using medical instruments and equipment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and non-pharmaceutical care approaches.
• Educate parents and caregivers on child health, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive pediatric care.
• Stay updated on current pediatric medical practices, medications, and treatment methods.
