Jarir Bookstore is seeking an experienced and skilled Painter to handle construction and furniture painting work in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, mixing paint colors accurately, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various construction and furniture projects. Applicants with TESDA painting certification and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Painter

Qualifications:

• Male, 30 to 40 years old.
• At least High School Graduate.
• TESDA Certificate in Painting is required/preferred.
• Relevant experience in construction and furniture painting.
• Knowledge of paint preparation, application, and finishing techniques.
• Skilled in mixing and matching paint colors.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with common painting tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing painting work for extended periods.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and repairing imperfections.
• Apply paint, primer, coatings, and other finishing materials to construction and furniture surfaces.
• Perform painting work on walls, ceilings, wooden furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors according to required shades and project specifications.
• Measure and prepare appropriate quantities of paint and other materials.
• Apply paints evenly using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other appropriate tools.
• Inspect painted surfaces for uneven coverage, drips, cracks, defects, or other imperfections.
• Perform touch-ups and corrective painting work when required.
• Protect surrounding areas, furniture, fixtures, and equipment from paint splashes and damage.
• Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and storing paints, solvents, and other materials.
• Follow company safety procedures and appropriate PPE requirements.
• Report material requirements, equipment problems, or work-related concerns to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with carpenters, maintenance personnel, and other workers when required.
• Perform other painting and finishing duties as assigned.
