You and I Cooperative is seeking hardworking and reliable Outdoor Plumbers for deployment to Japan under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP). The successful candidate will perform outdoor plumbing and pipeline installation work while following Japanese safety and construction standards.
OUTDOOR PLUMBER
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant plumbing or construction experience.
- Applicants should preferably be 35 years old and below.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Must possess a very good attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Committed to learning Nihongo (Japanese language training provided for free).
- Willing to work and adapt to Japanese culture and workplace standards.
- Must be committed to completing the employment contract with the Japanese employer.
- Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor and physically demanding work.
- Knowledgeable in pipe installation, maintenance, and plumbing tools usage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain outdoor water supply, drainage, and piping systems.
- Assist in excavation, pipe laying, fitting, and connection of plumbing systems.
- Read and follow plumbing layouts, construction drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect pipelines and plumbing systems to identify leaks, damages, or operational issues.
- Operate plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and drainage systems according to project specifications.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and materials.
- Coordinate with supervisors and construction teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Follow Japanese workplace discipline, operational standards, and safety regulations throughout the contract period.
