Electomech Pte Ltd is looking for responsible and experienced Heavy Goods Drivers to join our logistics team in Fiji Islands. This role is ideal for individuals with strong driving experience and a commitment to safe and timely delivery of goods.

Heavy Goods Driver

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Age: 34 to 45 years old.
• First-time applicants or ex-abroad candidates are welcome to apply.
• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a retail company (household appliances and electrical/electronic goods).
• Strong driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to handle cargo safely and efficiently.
• Good record-keeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Drive long distances to deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Record and document cargo deliveries accurately.
• Inspect trucks regularly and report any issues or defects.
• Maintain an activities log, including driving hours and delivery records.
• Report mechanical problems promptly to maintenance personnel.
• Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep commercial driving license valid and up to date.
